God's Covering
I Cover You“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea”(Habakkuk 2:14).
My waters cover the earth, and majestic mountains rise up out of the sea, declaring My strength, My glory. The skies and heavens are spread out like a canopy over the earth, and so I cover you this day, this moment. The winds move at My command. The rivers and seas are held within their banks at My word. All things are held together within bounds by My power. I am the beginning and the end of all things (Revelation 21:6). Nothing is hidden from Me, and all is held in the palm of My hand (Hebrews 4:13). Every molecule has My attention. How much more, then, do you have My heart and affectionate attention? All the beauty surrounding you was made as a gift, a habitation in which to dwell and experience My splendid love for you.
In light of this, the circumstances you are experiencing are but drops in the sea of My capabilities. I am a mountain of strength in your day of trouble, in the midst of your sea. Minor setbacks do not dismay Me in any way, even though they seem larger than life to you. They are wonderful tools in My hand to teach you, if you will let Me. I use them as opportunities to instruct, removing the enemy's plan to discourage you from the way I have chosen for you to walk. At the same time, you experience My grace and mercy, thereby seeing My salvation in your circumstances; a two-fold purpose is being accomplished. You are put on the right path, and our relationship grows deeper as you see Me moving on your behalf. It deepens the knowledge of My love for you in your own heart.
Don’t be dismayed at any minor setback. I will use them for your advantage. Turning things for the good is what I do. I use it to clear your path of all obstacles and distractions. In the process, your confidence will grow as you discover you can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13). We make a good team, you and I.
You have grown, you know. If this had happened even months ago, your dismay would have been great. Circumstances and situations have taught you well under the guidance and protection of My hand. I am so proud of you.
Look up, and see the heavens. Look around, and absorb the beauty surrounding your life. They are My declaration of love and capability for you. As the waters cover the earth My child so I cover you.
Prayer
My heart sings at Your words. I thank You for working in this circumstance and for the valuable lessons I have learned. As I look up at the heavens, I can sense Your smile over my life. All that the enemy meant for discouragement, You have turned into encouragement. Where I have thought evil in this circumstance, I ask for forgiveness, and I choose to speak blessing. Thank you for drawing me closer to Your heart of love. I receive mercy and grace in my time of need. You are faithful, loving, and true. I anticipate the abundant harvest arising out of my obedience to Your instructions. I rest under Your covering of intimate affection, receiving, and giving love. I love you. Amen.

- How does it make you feel to know He covers you?

We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
